Our firm is built on the foundation and tradition of more than a century of family business. We trace our roots to 1612 when the first Brinkerhoff came to New Amsterdam. In the early 1900s, the family moved to a plantation in Shreveport, LA called Last Chance. It was there, in 1912, that the Texas Company made an oil discovery on the family farm. That discovery led to the family's entry into the oil & gas business which set the stage for additional successes and our businesses today.
